Back Bay Condominium Interior Design

Interior Designer Notes on This Back Bay Condominium Redesign

This Back Bay client wanted to make her space more contemporary, elegant, and clean while incorporating some of her existing furniture. An updated and fresh look was requested by this 80-year-old Bostonian who had relocated from her brownstone on Beacon Street to a hipper, young living space at the Avalon on Exeter. Our client wanted to keep her original white sofa and incorporate a cream, white, and gray color palette. The existing area rug, marble top gilded console table, and additional pieces were incorporated into the new furniture design.

  • Gray linen fabric barrel chairs with bronze nailheads created a seating grouping, and a silver accented, crystal table lamp added lighting to this area. It sits on the champagne metal glass top side table.

  • A 5-foot wide antique marriage coffee table was the focal point in the sofa area. Two throw pillows were made From a Duralee fabric for the existing sofa.

  • Existing French provincial dining chairs were recovered in a Calvin Klein gray leather from Leaver.
